Choose recycled concrete against the fill or sub-base requirements for your project.

The material enquiry
WCR advertises crushed concrete and recycled aggregate enquiries for construction and groundwork projects. Its published catalogue includes a 6F2 description, while social posts also mention Type 1 crushed concrete. These descriptions need to be matched to the actual project specification and quotation.
Photos on this page show WCR vehicles and material handling. They do not certify a particular product grade. Confirm the description, quantity and availability in your quotation.
01 / Plan the delivery
Crushed concrete describes a recycled material; 6F2 and Type 1 refer to different specified material requirements. Do not assume that one advertised description automatically meets the other. Give WCR the exact requirement from your builder or designer and confirm the grading of the material being quoted.
02 / Plan the delivery
Share the area, proposed depth and whether the work is general fill or a specified construction layer. State whether measurements are before or after compaction. Dense recycled materials cannot be ordered by assuming a fixed conversion between cubic metres and tonnes.

03 / Plan the delivery
Show a clear, accessible area where the load can be kept apart from excavated soil and other aggregate grades. Explain how you will spread or compact the material, and send photos of the delivery route. The vehicle, unloading method and slot are agreed with WCR.
Before ordering
Use the material description and your project specification to agree the order.
No. Treat them as distinct specifications. Confirm which material your design requires and ask WCR to identify the product description and grading included in the quote.
Choose it only where it meets the required specification for your project. Its recycled origin alone does not establish suitability or compliance.
