What the job needs

Plan the service around your site.

A grab lorry uses its hydraulic arm to load material into the vehicle, helping when you have a ready pile of waste and no loading machine on site. WCR provides grab hire for homeowners, builders and landscapers across Essex and London. Send the postcode, material details and photos so we can confirm a suitable vehicle, loading position and collection slot.

Ilford / Access preparation

Parking arrangements before arrival

For an Ilford job, tell us whether the proposed loading position is on private ground or the road. Include any parking restrictions, booked access times and the person who can confirm arrangements on site.

Send any deadline or fixed delivery gate time when you enquire. The suitable vehicle, material and route determine the confirmed slot.

Material suitability

Is grab hire suitable for your job?

Grab collection works best when the material is ready in a reachable pile and a suitable loading position is available. It can help with excavations, driveway preparation, demolition rubble and landscaping clearances. Tell us if different waste streams are mixed together; a collection suitable for clean soil may not be suitable for a mixed pile.
